Franklin D. Cartright
April 8, 1942 — January 18, 2024
Franklin D. Cartright, age 81, of Huber Heights, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 18, 2024.
Franklin was born in Jeffersonville, IN on April 8, 1942 to the late David Walter & Mary Louise Cartright.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Doug Cartright.
Franklin is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Betty Lou Cartright; sons, Steven Cartright and Joseph Cartright; step-children, Joel Braden, Curtis Braden and Debbie Brown; grandchildren, Michael Cartright, Mariah Cartright, Angela Cartright, David Cartright and Bryson & Bailey; and many other relatives and friends.
Franklin was a master plumber by trade. He loved hunting, Fishing and playing the guitar. Franklin was an ordained minister. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 29, 2024 from 12-1pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. The service will follow at 1pm, with Pastor Hasty officiating.
