Frank W. Cleary

Frank W. Cleary, age 95, of Miami Township, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015.
Frank served in the US Army during WWII as a 1st Lieutenant under General Patton. He received a Silver Star during his service. Frank retired from NDM Corporation in 1984. He continued to serve as Clerk Treasurer for Miami Township, retiring in 1997.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Edith Cleary; brother, Robert Cleary; and grandson, Michael Cleary.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Betty Cleary; children, Frank (Connie) Cleary, Matthew Cleary, Janice (Doug) Bretelson, Daniel (Maria) Cleary and Constance (Jim) Cleary; grandchildren, Casey, Christy, Amy, David, Daniel, April, Robert Jr., Kenny, Tom and Maggie; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Cleary; sister, Rosemary Harding and many other relatives and friends.
Frank was a longtime member of St. Henry's Parish (6696 North Springboro Pike, Dayton, OH 45449), where a Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 7th, 2015 at 10 am. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The urn burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the DCF-Michael Cleary Memorial Scholarship Fund (322 Walnut St, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025).
