Frank A. Thompson

Frank A. Thompson, age 76 of Dayton, OH passed away peacefully on Friday, December 25, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born October 17, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Clayton and Marie (Parr) Thompson. Frank married Joyce Gorski on June 15, 1974 in Cincinnati, OH.
Frank is survived by his wife of 46 years Joyce; three sons, Ryan (Chris) Thompson, Michael Thompson, Darin (Deb) Thompson; a daughter, Tina Hampton; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren; and numerous family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Clayton L. Thompson.
Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was an over the road truck driver for 25 years and retired from driving. Frank enjoyed photography and caring for his yard. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 from 11:30 to 12:30 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 12:30 pm at the funeral home. Frank will be laid to rest with honors at Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
