Frank Joseph Schreier Sr.

Frank Joseph Schreier Sr., age 83 of Wilmington, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born October 24, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Louis and Mildred Schreier.

Frank was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, boating, and making his own baits. He was very outgoing, funny, quick-witted and never met a stranger. Most importantly, he was a man of faith and always made sure to lead his family in prayer before dinner.

Frank is survived by his wife of nearly 64 years, Cindy; children, Frank Schreier Jr., (Cecilia Cook), Laura (Mike) Carroll, Jeff (Kathy) Schreier, Jerry Schreier; grandchildren, Brian (Kelsey) Carroll, Daniel (Ali) Carroll, Brittany Taylor, Frankie Schreier, Rosie Schreier, Brooke Schreier (John Ausdenmoore), Jerilyn Schreier, Brad (Morgan) Carroll, Joe (Sophie) Carroll, and Clarice Schreier; great grandchildren, Bryden, Braxton, and August; brother, David (Sandy) Schreier; as well as numerous loving relatives and many friends.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Ellen Hagerman.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459). Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in New Burlington Cemetery.
