Our father was a Professional trucker for 52 years that's what he told everyone. He started career at Wonder Bread worked for them 16 years. We enjoy all their goodies Twinkies Orange or Chocolate Cupcakes their Powder Donuts or Chocolate Donuts. The best times were when our Dad gave out Twinkies or cupcakes for Halloween for couple years when we were little. Dad had so much fun on Halloween. After his company shut down he got a phone call from his oldest brother Junior. Asking him if he would be interest in being on the road truck driver. This was the beginning of him working for a couple Trucking Companies. The first one was KC Express 2nd Vantage 3rd Harold Pohl and 4th Continental Express which became his second home. Dad worked at Continental Express for 28 years he truly loved his job. He took pride in his work he never like being late for a load. If he was he would tell it wasn't his fault. Are Dad had system he knew how long it would take get to different places. Never had accident knew when it was time stop. He got the One Million Mile award he was very surprise and very proud of himself. I still can remember when he called us telling he got award he so excited. They schedule a meeting on that Saturday and my Dad wasn't planning to go. He told everyone at the company you are interrupting my beer and my movie time. Well Thank goodness are Dad went and got his award. There is a lot of stories I can tell you about our Dad. I will tell you this him and his boss Russ they talked a lot. They both had so much respect for each other. What employee has your bosses home phone number are Dad did. He had so much fun going into office picking on them. Telling the ladies and guys to get to work I can't remember everyone's name. I know he especially love messing with Karen he adored her. We are so glad his boss Russ came down to see him.
