Maas, Frank J age 81, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020. He was born in Yugoslavia on February 27, 1939 to the late Anton and Magdalena Maas (nee Bernhardt).
He was preceded in death by his sister, Katharina Gjarmati; and brother, John Maas.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Barbara Maas; children, Frank J (Christina) Maas, Jr., Julie (Aaron) Horner, Leigh (Rod) Hart; grandchildren, Tyler Maas, Taylor Maas, Amanda Hart, Sydney Hart, Bree Horner, and Bryn Horner; siblings, Magdalena Habodasz, Henry (Carol) Maas, and Barbara (John) Dahlinghaus; sister-in-law, Diane Maas; and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Frank, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424 followed by a Celebration of Life at 5:00 pm.
