Frank E. Little, Sr.
of West Carrollton, age 87, went to be with his Lord May 16, 2012.
He married Mildred Ladd, March 9th, 1944 in Salina, KS.
Frank was a U. S. Army Air Corps veteran having served during WW II on Iwo Jima and Saipan. He retired from NCR with 28 years of service. For 20 years he was a member of the Kettering Banjo Society, played 14 instruments and elevated playing the hand-saw with a cello bow to an art form. Frank was a founder of the 60 Plus Club and attended the West Carrollton Church of the Nazarene.
Frank is survived by two daughters, Rebecca (Paul) Pipik of Tuscon and Joy Wallen of Kettering; son, Frank Jr. of Cincinnati; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; by his extended family & many good friends.
Frank was preceded to Glory by his mother, Flora Jane Little; his father, John William Little, both of Franklin and also by his beloved wife, "Millie" after 49 years of marriage.
The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Sunday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor David Schooler officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton.
