Francis L. Dunfee

DUNFEE, Francis L., 89, went to the Lord March 3, 2009. Mr. Dunfee died at Koester Pavilion in Troy where he had been a resident for several years. Mr. Dunfee was preceded in death by his parents, Hibbard and Lida (Shattuck) Dunfee, and his wife of 61 years, Iree (Walker) Dunfee. Mr. Dunfee leaves his son, Bob (Lana) Dunfee; grandsons, Robert Jr.(Sue), David, Duane, Michael (Stephanie) Dunfee; great-grandchildren, Brooke (Josh) Rudy, Jeremy, Jennifer, Ashlee, Britnee, Lauren, Kaila, Macee, and Hayden Dunfee. Mr. Dunfee was a veteran of WWII serving in the Signal Corps. He was a Property Manager, Scoutleader, active in St. Peters Lutheran Church, and a Rotarian. He will be interred at Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 W. Third St., Dayton, where a memorial graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, April 16, 2009.
