Frances M. Simmons, age 91, of New Lebanon, OH passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017. She was born October 4, 1925 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late John and Nellie Grant.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 78 years, Ted Simmons Sr. and daughter, Karen Brooks.
Frances is survived by her sons, Ted (Linda) Simmons Jr., Donald L. (Pam) Simmons, Dale Simmons, Tommy (Robin) Simmons; daughters, Nancy Burkhart, Jewell (Roland) Surls; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 5-6:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439).
Frances will be laid to rest next to her husband at Bearcreek Cemetery at a later date.
