Frances W. Neal

Frances W. Neal, "Watt", age 87, formerly of West Carrollton, passed away January 15, 2023.
She was born in Russell Springs, KY to the late Alvin S. and Ora Mae (Bault) Beane. Frances met and married the love of her life, Russell C. Neal whom she met at the soda shop where she worked. Russell enlisted in the Air Force which brought them to Ohio, making their home in Fairborn and finally in West Carrollton where they raised their family. Frances and Russell were dedicated, long time members of West Carrollton First Baptist Church on Elm Street. Frances worked at West Carrollton Schools starting out as a Substitute in the cafeteria and finishing her career as the Head Cook at Walter Shade School.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Russell C. Neal, her brothers Wilbur Beane, Raymond Beane, R.C. Beane, Maxine Abrell, Lois Wilson, Mary Eunice Griffith and Ruth Beane.
She will be remembered by her two beloved daughters Lisa (James) Glenn, and Pamela (Robert) Knedler; her grandson Russell (Erin) Knedler; along with her two great-grandsons Levi and Lincoln Knedler and many other loved ones.
Frances enjoyed and excelled at taking care of her family especially her grandson Russell "Rusty". She loved her sweets and was affectionately nick named "Sweet Tooth". Frances will always be remembered for her cooking and making each meal a special event.
She also enjoyed going for walks, riding her bike, shopping with her daughters and decorating her home.
Frances was deeply loved and cherished by her family.
Private services will be held. If desired donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or to West Carrollton First Baptist Church in Frances' memory.
