Frances "Jo" Kerns

KERNS, Frances Jo, age 92, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2008. She was born April 6, 1916 in Lee County Virginia, to the late Allen and Vergie Carter. Frances is survived by her daughter-in-law Sherry Kerns; grandchildren Terry "Rusty" (Linda) Kerns Jr. and Lisa (Dean) Jeske; 7 great-grandchildren; and sister Lena Kate Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her husband Bradley Kerns; son Terry Kerns Sr.; brothers Leonard Carter and B.D. Carter. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 19, 2008 at 7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439) where the family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
