Frances Oneal Jiles

Frances Oneal Jiles, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Tuesday April 18, 2023. She was born April 6, 1953 in Huntington West Virginia, the daughter of the late Harry Boone and Margaret B. Boone, who survives.

Frances graduated from Dunbar High School. She decided to further her education and pursue a career in nursing. She graduated from The Dayton School of Practical Nursing. She loved her career and insisted on taking care of her family when nursing care was required.

Frances was preceded in death by her loving father, Harry Boone, her loving siblings: Dellia Williamson, Dorothy Dukes, Richard Breckenridge and Charles Breckenridge; and her loving son, Howard Black, with whom she was very close to and has missed immensely since his passing in 2020.

Frances is survived by her loving, dedicated mother, Margaret B. Boone; her loving daughter, Laticha (Ron) McElroy; her loving son, Angelo (Audrey Eichel) Black; eight loving grandchildren: DeAaron, Tiarra, LaRonna, Tionna, Isabella, Joshua, Trinity and Maranatha; four loving great-grandchildren: DaNyla, Dayla, Lemere and Lamont; along with other loving family members.
