Frances "Fran" Jackson

Frances Jo Jackson, "Fran," age 79 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born June 30, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Lorraine Kanak.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Chuck Jackson; grandson, Charlie; sister, Betty; and brother, Charles.

Fran is survived by her husband of 61 years, Albert; sons, Albert Jackson Jr., Steven (Sandra) Jackson; grandchildren, Matt (Mandy), Holly Jo, Brad and Nate; great grandchildren, Kaden, Kalissa, Kynley, Karter, Jonathan, Destiny and Londyn; brother, Gaile Kanak; daughter-in-law Kae Jackson; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Fran was a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary #746 since 1971. Fran enjoyed camping, boating and spending time with her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. A Celebration of Fran's Life will follow at American Legion #746 (7015 N Dixie Drive, Dayton, OH 45414). In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation to Hospice of Dayton, in Fran's memory.
