Frances J. Henderson, age 72 of Fairborn, passed away March 21, 2014. She was born April 1, 1941 in Fayetteville, TN. Preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Robinson; grandmother, Daisy Bell Strong; daughter, Annette Thomason; grandson, Tyree Henderson; brother, Thomas Hayes; and nephew, Stanford Hayes.
Frances is survived by children: Joann Henderson, Barbara (Ronald) Rutherford, Lucreitica (Dion) Day, Chanda (Michael) Williams, Carlos (Debra) Coleman and Robertra Conner; granddaughter, Tara (Christopher) Dixon; 6 sisters & 3 brothers: Mary (Ellen) Henderson, Gladys (David) Tatum, Anna Ellis, Deborah (Nathaniel) Brown, Yvonne (Darryl) Blanchett, Rebecca Brown, Samuel Robinson, Melvin Robinson and Kenneth Robinson; many other grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Frances was a lifetime member of Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed warm weather and gardening. Frances was a very giving woman who enjoyed helping those in need in her community. She will be truly missed.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road.
