Frances "Fran" Kuskowski, age 79 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 30, 2022. She was born December 3, 1942 in Glen Cove, New York daughter of the late Stanley and Helen Kotowski.
Fran was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and a friend to many. Fran and her husband James owned Wagner Potato Chips in Miamisburg, Ohio until the time of his passing in 1997. She then went to work in retail at Kohls until her retirement in 2019. Retirement did not suit Fran so she went back to work part time at TJ Maxx. She loved to be around others and to bring a smile to their faces. Fran enjoyed reading, gardening, shopping, a great glass of wine, and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Fran was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 36 years, James L. Kuskowski.
Fran is survived by her children, Karen (Scott) Creech and Jim (Angi) Kuskowski; grandchildren, Kassi Kuskowski (Kraig Konicki), Kammi Kuskowski (Colin Glitsch), and Taylor (Connor) Galen; great granddaughter, Karli Kuskowski; and a great granddaughter on the way; sister, Louise (Daniel) Capobianco; nieces, Tina (Charlie) Minicozzi and Tara Capobianco; nephew, Daniel (Liz) Capobianco; as well as numerous loving family members in Long Island, New York.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 10:30am at St. Francis of Assisi (6245 Wilmington Pike, Centerville, Ohio 45459). With burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Fran's honor to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
