Floyd Watson

WATSON, Floyd, age 90, of Riverside, died Monday, July 3, 2006. He was born January 9, 1916 in Jefferson County, IN, the son of the late Ira and Ivy (Smith) Watson. He retired after 30 years from the United States Air Force. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Cherry and Greg Paley; one son and partner, Michael Watson and Jennie Kristel; 8 grandchildren, Melissa Martin, Brian Moore, Drue Martin, Sienna Beard, Jason Dunn, Robin, Daniel, and Justin Miller; 4 great-grandchildren, Sabastion Martin, Zach Paley, Tyler Moore, and Skieler Martin; one sister, Mildred Gourley; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ora Watson; 12 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 8, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at East Dayton Baptist Church (1380 Spaulding Rd.) with Pastor Gordon officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to time of service at church. Donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Services in care of Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel.
