Floyd S. Robinson, Sr.

ROBINSON, Floyd S., Sr., age 80 of Beavercreek, passed away Friday, February 16, 2007. He was born March 17, 1926 in Nashville, TN, the son of Samuel and Sadie (Pope). He was a veteran of World War II serving with the United States Navy and a member of Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene Church. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dorothy; one daughter, Rhonda Perone; one son and daughter-in-law, Floyd S. and Gwyn Robinson, Jr.; grandchildren, Stephanie Murray, Chad Perone, Kari Moeller, Courtney Robinson, Leslie Robinson, and Lindsey Rose; great-grandchildren, Cody Ison, Darian Murray, Kyra Perone, Miles Moeller, Malik Andrews, Maya Rose, and Evan Robinson; and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by both parents, brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held Monday, February 19, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel where funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Kevin Wentworth officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene.
