PENCE, Floyd E. age 74 of Miami Twp., passed away Friday, April 14, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his parents Grimes V. and Mildred Pence and his brother Richard Pence. He is survived by Jane, his loving wife of 51 years, his daughters Pamela and husband Kenneth Stanfield, Patricia and husband Timothy Harrison; grandchildren Lauren Stanfield and husband James Allred, Adam and wife Nichole Harrison, Andrew Stanfield, Alexander Harrison, Luke Stanfield, Olivia Stanfield, Philip Stanfield, Aric Harrison, Meredith Stanfield and Caroline Stanfield; great granddaughter Lillia Allred; brother William and wife Karen Pence; sisters Geraldine and husband Adam Hodge, Inez Lee and husband Gene McCartney; and a host of other relatives and friends. Floyd served our country in the US Marine Corp during the Korean War. He retired from GM after 38 years of service and was a member The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Floyd was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be 11:30 am Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 901 East Whipp Road, Centerville, with Bishop Leonard Going officiating. Family will receive friends from 9-11 am. Interment at Heritage Hills Memory Gardens. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Floyd's memory.
