Floyd J. Hatfield, age 80, of Vandalia, passed away on September 29, 2021. He was born in Straight Creek, Tennessee, on September 15, 1941, the son of the late Clifford and Ruby Hatfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Johnny Hatfield.
Floyd is survived by his loving wife, Carol Hatfield; children, Donna Jenkins, Greg (Cindy) Scott Hatfield and Dianna Lynn Ludwig; many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Roger Hatfield and Kenny (Sandy) Hatfield; and many other loving family and friends.
In his free time, he enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandkids. Floyd was a man of few words but was very devoted to those he loved.
Services will be held at a later date due to COVID concerns.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Floyd's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
