He is preceded in death by his grandson, Tyler Michael Pate.
He is survived by his daughter, Carla (Steve) Blanchard; sons, Craig (Melody) Hedges and Bill Hedges; granddaughters, Jessica D'Angelo-Pate, Liana D'Angelo-Peters, Christina Hedges and Amanda Hedges; grandsons, Jacob Blanchard and Austin Blanchard; great-grandchildren, Lacey and Jayden Peters; brothers, Chester (Christine) Baker and Clyde Baker; sisters, Florie, Flossie, and Faye Baker nephews, Lloyd Baker, Ronald Baker, Kevin Baker; niece, Karen Jane; and dear friends and neighbors, L.D. (Pauline) King.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Byron Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
