Flossie Mae Prater

Flossie Mae Prater (Barnett), age 85 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away peacefully April 27, 2021. She was born February 25th, 1936 to the late Walter and Ethel (Mullins) Barnett.

Flossie was preceded in death by her great granddaughters, Trinity Shields and Nicole Holland.

She will be missed by her loving son, Ray (Linda) Prater; daughter, Jo Anne Prater (Rodney); six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Flossie was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was a sweet, kind, good Christian woman whom everyone adored. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.

Family will receive friends Wednesday Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Burial Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The state of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks be worn in all public places.
