Flossie L. Moore, age, 81 of Dayton, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 31, 2013. She was born on December 6, 1931 in Jackson, OH to the late, Carroll and Pearl Ewing. Flossie married Charles W. Moore and he precedes her in death.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Ewing; sisters-in-law, Inez Wells and Irene Broaddus; brothers-in-law, Edward Pruess, Earl Tincher, Robert, Jerry and Jack Moore; nieces, Janie Lucas and Tina Moore; extended family, Willard and Thelma Clouse, Carol and Glenn Clouse.
Flossie is survived by her son, Larry (Colleen) Moore; daughter, Kathy (Brian) Henry; son, Rick (Barbara) Moore; 11 grandchildren, Laura (Brad) Reigelsperger, Jay Triplett, Benjamin (Antonia) Rancurello, Daniel (Jessica) Triplett, Jessica Walker, Jamie Moore (Neal Maybury), Joe Moore (Amy Wolf-Adams), Michael (Amber) Newton, Amy Moore, Beth Moore, Christie (Chase) Willett; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Pruess; special friend and partner of 36 years, Carl Radford; extended family, Buster (Joyce) Moore and numerous nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed her happiest years at Rocky Fork Lake, boating, camping and fishing. Flossie was a former resident of Sunny Acres in Dayton, and left behind many dear friends there.
