Flossie E. Gregg, age 79 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born July 10, 1938 in LaFollette, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Julie Bolton.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Jordan Gregg; sisters, Mary Bolton, Lue Bolton, Almedia Smiddy, Bessie Fisher; brother, Floyd Bolton.
Flossie is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Virgil; sons, Glenn (Leslie) Gregg, Jimmy (Jackie) Gregg; grandchildren, Nathanael Gregg (Kelly Cook), Amber Little, Kody Gregg, Jennifer (Landen) Abdulhai, Cheyenne Gregg; great-grandchildren, Chloe Burchette, Lily Marshall; sister, Kathleen Marlow; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory - North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 12 pm, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. All friends and family are welcome.
