Flossie C. Brown

BROWN, Flossie (Curtis) age 91 of Centerville, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at her home after a short illness. She was born on June 29, 1915 in Cynthiana, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband Denver Brown Sr., her son Denver Brown Jr., her mother Annie Hutchinson and step father Clarence Hutchinson, her sister Elsie Jones, her brothers Theodore "Bud" Curtis and William T. "Babe" Curtis. She is survived by her son Siah and wife Terrie Brown of Farmers, KY; daughter-in-law Sue Brown of Farmers, KY; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, among them being, grandchildren Sheryl Brown and Denver Brown III; great grandchildren Jake, Clay and Matthew; and a host of other relatives and friends. Flossie retired from Elder Beerman after 16 years of service and was a member of The Cynthiana Christian Church. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Saturday, July 8, 2006 at Battlegrove Cemetery 531 East Pike Street, Cynthiana, KY. Contributions may be made to your local Hospice in Flossie's memory.
