Florence R Warner

Warner, Florence Edith (Darnell), age 79, of Kettering, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012. Flo was a member of Greenmont-Oak Park Community United Church of Christ in Kettering where she worked as the church secretary on two separate occasions. She also worked at Dayton Tire and Rubber until it closed in 1980.

Flo is survived by: Pasko Evanoff; daughter: Karen Hammonds; brothers: Charles David (Ginny) Darnell & John Harrison Darnell; nieces and nephews: Greg Darnell, John Jeffrey Darnell and his children: Jackie, Emma & Conner, Lisa Ann (John) Johnson and her children: Nicole & Paige, Steven (Lisa Karen) Darnell and his children: Sophie & Carly, and John Richard Darnell. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter: Charissa J. Hammonds; parents: Charlie E. & Martha Darnell; and grandparents: John & Stella Sparks Creech and David Darnell & Margaret Roberson Darnell.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Greenmont-Oak Park Community Church, 1921 Woodman Dr., Dayton, Ohio 45420. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Greenmont-Oak Park Community Church or the charity of one's choice.
