Florence J. Loyd

LOYD, Florence Jean age 85 of Washington Twp., passed away Thursday, July 3, 2008 very peacefully at Bethany Village. Jean lived a dynamic life full of passion and love for her family and friends. She loved children, her own and all others. She loved her home, her garden and of course, her beloved husband Bob. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Loyd Sr. and her parents Ella and Roger Decker. Jean is survived by her daughters Linda (Jim) Manning, Susan and Carol Loyd and her son Bob Jr.; as well, she had a dozen grandchildren: Michael (Emily), Patrick, Katie, Brian (Tarah), Joshua (Andrea), Aimee (Jeff), Christina, Christie, Amy, Jenny, Lindsay and Ashley; 4 great grandchildren; brother Roger Decker of Orlando, FL and many special nieces and nephews, all of who she adored. Funeral services will be 9:30 am Saturday, July 12, 2008 at St. George Episcopal Church 5520 Far Hills Ave., Centerville. Family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Friday at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Interment at David's Cemetery.
