Florence Gray

GRAY, Florence E., 77, of Dayton passed away Tuesday June 2, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers. Florence is survived by her daughters Marian (Sekou) Doukoure and Latonia Trent; grandchildren Kenyatta, Kiesha, Latasha, Lamar, and Keynon; sister Juliet St Joseph, of Guyana; brothers Vibert Williams and Phillip Williams, of Guyana; a host of other family and friends. She was a member of New Life Worship Center and the Red Hat Society at Brookview Place. Florence is a retired from Dayton Mental Health Center where she was a registered nurse for 15 years. She also worked as a nurse midwife before moving to the United States. Funeral services will be held 10:00am Saturday June 6, 2009 at New Life Worship Center, 3350 Benchwood Dr. Family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00am prior to services at the church. Bishop Ronald Coleman officiating. Burial will follow services at Dayton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church.
