Florence Fry

FRY, Florence, on September 15, 2010, our loving mother, Gram, Great-Gram, Big Gram, mother-in-law and grandmother-in-law died at Hospice of Dayton. Florence was born in Dukinfield, England to Redvers Buller and Florence Ridgeway Herod on June 19, 1926. She was one of six children, one of whom, her sister, Myra Hollingsworth, preceded her in death. She enjoyed a loving marriage to Charles Fry who died in September 2005. She was a war bride who came to the US and made the most of her life here. She is loved and missed by her daughters, Carolyn McGuire (Bill) of Harlingen, Texas; Beverly Perry (Harold) of Dayton, Ohio; and Jennifer Fry of Springboro, Ohio. Grandchildren include Chris McGuire (Kathi) of Parker, CO; Stephen McGuire (RaLynn) of Tempe, AZ; Eric Perry (Amanda); and Daniel Perry (Carrie) of Dayton, Ohio, as well as five great grandchildren, Cole and Miller McGuire, Seamus Perry, Colleen Perry, and KaraLyn McGuire. A celebration of her life will be held at First United Methodist Church of Springboro, Ohio at 1:30pm on Monday, September 20, 2010. Family will receive friends from 12:30pm – 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First United Methodist Church in Springboro, Ohio or Hospice of Dayton.
