Flave C. McGuire, age 82 of Franklin, Ohio passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023. He was born to Frank and Printha (Lewis) McGuire in Stacy Fork, KY.
Flave retired from Orman Welding as a welder in Middletown, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Faye McGuire; son, Wesley (Roshelle) McGuire; daughter, Kristen McGuire (Bill Seiter); grandchildren, Whitney (Dustin) Gilbert, Taylor Wieland, Brianna McGuire, Michael Huff, and Derek Huff; 2 great granddaughters; 4 great grandsons; sister, Tressie Patrick; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jason McGuire; and siblings, Beulah, Lavotis, Nell, James, John, Genesis, and Pat.
Flave will be missed and be remembered with love by all his family and friends.
A public visitation will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, Dayton, OH 45459). A private graveside will be held at Woodhill Cemetery in Franklin, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties, in Flave's honor.
