Age 72, of New Carlisle, passed away suddenly Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at Grandview Hospital.
Faye was born in Buchanan County, VA to Frank & Maudie (McFarland) Ball, who preceded her in death. She is also preceded by one sister, Juanita Presley, three brothers, Freeman, Nedium, and her twin brother, Gray.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Elijah H. Murphy; two sons, Don Wayne Murphy and Ronald K. Murphy, Sr.; two daughters, Donna & Phil Roche and Diane (Murphy) Dearing, all of New Carlisle; six grandchildren, Melissa, Brandy, Bobby, Amanda, Kevin and Alisa; three great grandchildren, Gage, Brock and Chloe; two sisters, Sue & Tony Boyd of New Carlisle and Joyce Johnson of Dayton; and by her special friends, Dottie and Estel Lewis of New Vienna.
Faye was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Interment will follow at Byron Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
