Fay Young

YOUNG, Fay O., 81, of Georgia, formerly of Bellbrook, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009 at Providence Assisted Living in GA. He is preceded in death by his parents Fay and Mary Young; first wife Carrie Young; second wife Phyllis Young; and sister Mary Winston. Fay is survived by his children Brenda McKee; Suzan Starkey, and Gail Sherrod; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister Rita Neblett; brothers Bobby and Albert Young; many other family and friends. He was a veteran in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of both the Central Avenue and Belmont Churches of Christ, he was a elder for many years at Central Avenue. Fay worked for many years and retired as a Supervisory Computer Programmer in the Aeronautical System Division at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. His hobby and passion in life was fishing. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Sunday, December 27, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd. Family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00PM Sunday prior to services. A private graveside service will be held 9:00AM Monday December 28, 2009 at Bellbrook Cemetery.
