Farris Epard, age 72 of Xenia, OH went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Beavercreek Health & Rehab. She was born on October 26, 1948 in Hazard, Kentucky to Elmo and Eula Mae (Johnson) Pennington.
Farris enjoyed watching the classics on TV, especially Little House on the Prairie, Gunsmoke and The Golden Girls. She also enjoyed listening to Stevie Nicks, Prince and the music of the 80's. Farris loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Farris is survived by her son, Robert Earl (Miranda Gill) Lawson; her daughter, Phyllis Lee (Blake) McDaniel; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; her sister and caregiver, Phyllis (Jim) Martin; two brothers, Vernon and Marion Pennington; an aunt, Wanda McCaslin; and friend of the family, Roy Burlew; and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; her most generous, loving and caring father, Ralph Elliott, who was also a wonderful grandfather; a daughter, Gay Lynn Lundy; a son, Wade Leon Lawson; and a sister in law, Pat Pennington.
Service will be conducted at a later date at the convenience of the family.
