Farmer P. Watkins

Farmer P. Watkins, age 83 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2018. Farmer was born in West Liberty, KY to the late Samuel Preston and Dona Francis Watkins. Farmer loved to have a good time and share fun times with his friends and family. He retired from LabCorp after many years of service. He had a wonderful sense of humor and will be remembered for his aggravating ways, and ability to bring a smile to your face. He was a loving and caring father, grandfather, great-grandfather, soon to be great-great-grandfather, uncle, and friend.

In addition to his parents, Farmer was preceded in death by his first wife, Edith; second wife, Sandy; third wife, Beverly; and brothers and sisters, James, Ray, Willard, Cassie, Ora, Geneva, Bessie, Clarice, Myrtle, and infant sister .

Farmer is survived by daughter, Mary (Ron) Fuller; grandchildren, Amy (Shane), and Adam (Jessica); great-grandchildren, Brittany (Travis), Kaelii, Jaelynn, and Oakley; soon to be great-great-grandson, Levi; and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at Newcomer North Chapel on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 1:30pm. Visitation for one hour prior (12:30pm-1:30pm). Burial to follow at Byron Cemetery.
