Fannie M. Welz, age 85 of Dayton, passed away March 2, 2012. She was born January 9, 1927 in Wilder, TN to the late Everett and Lillie Oxendine. In addition to her parents, Fannie was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Fannie is survived by her husband of 43 years, Donald Welz; 5 children; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; 2 sisters; 1 brother; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Burial to follow at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery.
