Pollock, Everette D. 81 of Thomasville, Georgia, formerly of Cedarville, Ohio. Passed away unexpectedly with his dear friend and companion, Jo Ann Tuvell on November 29, 2015 in Thomasville.
He was born July 7, 1934 in Cillicothe, Ohio, to Homer and Daisy Pollock. Everette enjoyed bowling, avvid Atlanta Braves baseball fan and had coached many different baseball teams. He was retired from General Motors after 32 years of service. He also was a Korean War Veteran with the U.S. Air Force, life time member of the American Legion, Amvets, and the V.F.W.
He was proceeded in death by his wife Janet Shaw Smithhisler Pollock; parents Homer and Daisy Pollock; sons Trent Pollock, and Tommy Pollock; and brothers and a sister.
He is survived by his children Barbara (Robin) Stewart, Diny (Joe) Fillion, Gregory Graham, Timothy (Mary) Pollock, London (Rich) May; Stepchildren Pam (Bill) Vermillion, Jim (Marsha) Smithhisler, Monica (Ed) Blanchard, Larry (Moni) Smithhisler, Philip (Tonya) Smithhisler, Mike (Carolyn) Smithhisler, Peggy (Randy) Harris, Maria (Steve) Wagner; Grandchildren Dustin Everhart, Caitlynn Pollock, McKenzie Pollock and Faith Butler; Brothers Ralph and Richard, along with several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:30 pm on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Grace Baptist Church, 109 N. Main St., Cedarville, OH where a service will follow at 1:30 pm. Burial will take place at Massie Creek Cemetery.
