Everett V. Lamb
Age 92, of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at Otterbein Retirement Community, Lebanon, OH.
He was born December 26, 1914 in Dayton, OH, the son of Clarence & Helen (Charles) Lamb. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lucille, and son Ralph Michael Lamb.
Survivors include his children, Patricia Beard of Florida and Edmond Lamb of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Cameron Beard, Shawn Lamb, Suzanne Janis, Ellie Lamb & Cody Lamb; great grandchildren, Haley Lamb, Gabriella Janis & Ethan Lamb.
During the early 1930's Everett worked with the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps). He later worked at Dayton Sporting Goods, Jim Flynn Sporting Goods, and Tuffy Brooks Sporting Goods and then went on to owning and operating his Sportsman's Service Center Store. He finally retired from Precision Tool & Gauge.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
