Everett Eugene Ernst

ERNST, Everett E. "Ernie", age 75, Entered into Heaven on Friday, June 27, 2008. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Isabel (Coy) Ernst; brother, Raymond Ernst, and sister, Thelma Davenport. He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Barbara Ernst; son, Walter Ernst; sisters, Dorothy Allen, Phyllis Gordon, Vera Rogers, Shirley Eaton, and Nancy Mendenhall, as well as brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Carl and Shirley Goodman, Ralph Goodman, Tom Goodman, Lydia Lloyd, Janice and Charley Ray, Sonya Ernst, and many nieces and nephews. Ernie retired from Cordage of Dayton Paper Co. in 1992 after 40 years of service. He served for 5 years in the U. S. Army. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Family will receive friends from 10:00am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Ernie.
