Who could not take pleasure in this man with the Leprechaun twinkle in his eyes and such vigor in his greeting? When talking about his passions - his God, his wife and children, his music, his students - Chad's voice filled with such ardor that just listening to him made you glad to be alive. Chad served as a Deacon, Life Group leader, and played his clarinet in Dayton Avenue Baptist Church's orchestra and sang in their choir. He was also a piano tuner for over 60 years and continued this beloved activity even through the early stages of his illness.
Before his illness, Chad was involved in summer missions in Paris supporting our Southern Baptist missionaries with the Algerian Berber Christians.
