HOOVER, Everett C. age 87 of Centerville, finished his journey here on earth and went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 21, 2009. He was preceded in death by his infant son, numerous brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife Mary, his son Calvin Hoover of Toronto, Canada, his daughter Georgena Tamaska of Beavercreek; granddaughter Audra Tamaska; great granddaughter Mila Grace Gillam; step-children Jim and wife Paula Streck, Robin and husband Jeff Ungard; step grandchildren Kenny and Katie Streck, Matthew and Daniel Ungard; sisters Martha Jane Hoover of Hillsboro, Ruth Ella of Tipp City; brothers Aaron Hoover of Springfield, MO and Daniel and wife Patricia Hoover of Cridersville, OH; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends; his grand puppies Kyla and Mattie, and his grand cat Navarre. Everett served our country in the US Navy, proudly serving four years during WWII. He retired from NCR with over 33 years of service, and from Kettering City Schools after 10 years of service. He was a member of the Belmont United Methodist Church, where he served many years as an Usher. Other memberships were with the American Legion Post 598 and the VFW Post 9927.
