Withers, Evelyn age 81, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020. She was born in Cookeville, Tennessee on January 19, 1939 to the late Kirk and Minnie Scott (nee Allen).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Withers; daughters, Donna Jean Shiverdecker and Cathy Ann Allen; and sisters, Shirley Thomas and Margaret Hawkins.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Gina Delong; son-in-laws, Randy Shiverdecker and Mike Allen; 2 granddaughters - Sarah (James) Goss and Alicia (Eric) Riley; 2 grandsons - Josh (Erin) Shiverdecker and Jake Delong; 8 great grandchildren, and brothers, Mitchell Scott and Walter Scott. She is also survived by numerous family, friends, her beloved dog, Daisy; and 2 special life long friends, Helen Davis and Jim Weaver.
In loving memory of Evelyn, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420. A special thank you to Hospice of Dayton for taking great care of Evelyn and her family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432.
