DORN, Evelyn Viola (nee DiSalvo)
age 78 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at Mercy Sienna Woods Nursing Center. Evelyn was born June 12, 1928, the daughter of Gioacchino and Rosa DiSalvo. She is survived by her children, Benita (Rick) Dorn-Collins, Jeanne Wilkson, Larry (Judy) Dorn, Joyce (Tom) Gerlach, and Mary Rose (Charles) Hoskins; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Benjamin Dorn. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Sister Judy Niday will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Sisters of the Precious Blood for MAB fund for the needy.
