Evelyn R. Hight

Evelyn R. "Sue" Hight, age 93 of Dayton, passed away May 17, 2016. She was born January 13, 1923 in Madison County, KY to the late Clayton B. and Madie L. Moore. In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Cleatus; brothers, Clayton Jr. and Elwood Moore; sister, Pauline Craycraft.

She is survived by her step-children, Gloria Todd and her husband, Byron, Angie Hight and Vickie Hight; siblings, Shirley Moore and is wife, Slade, Alma Masters and her husband, Clay and Maxine Bryant; grandchildren, Neil Howard, Glenna Zimmerman, Jennifer Todd and Mia Todd; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Sue was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She enjoyed needlework and gardening.

Family will receive friends from 1-2 PM on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd where a funeral service will begin at 2PM with Pastor Richard Donovan officiating. Sue will be laid to rest next to her husband at Ridgetop Cemetery, Crofton, KY at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Miami County, in Sue's memory.
