Evelyn Paske

PASKE, Evelyn went to be with our Lord at the age of 87 on October 15, 2008. Evelyn was a devoted Christian who demonstrated God's love to all. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Christina and Alvah Pokett; husbands, Budd Morss and Edward Paske; son, Todd Morss; brother Ronald Pokett; and nephew, Russell Pokett Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Kay Paske Lillich; son-in-law, Michael Lillich; brother, Russell Pokett; three nieces; one nephew; and two grandnieces. She is also survived by a multitude of friends who benefited greatly from her loving kindness, generosity, and compassionate heart. In her youth she was known for her athletic abilities, and found much joy in gymnastics and swimming. In addition to working many years in the field of health care, she is best known for nurturing many "adopted children" during 35 years of babysitting, where she became an integral part of the families' lives. Her sense of humor and fun-loving, feisty spirit will be missed by all. A private family burial will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2008. A memorial service open to friends of the family will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 4865 Wilmington Pike, Kettering, OH, at the corner of Wilmington and Rahn Rd., at 4:30PM Saturday, November 1, 2008. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Miami Valley chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, 3797 Summit Glen Dr. Dayton, OH 45449.
