Evelyn L. Haller

Haller, Evelyn Cyphers, age 90, born September 11, 1920, passed away peacefully
Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Avalon at Clear Creek in Centerville. Evelyn was a very special lady and her love and fantastic sense of humor will be missed by many.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her loving husband James (Bud) Haller, daughter
Shari Gorham, son Gregory Haller, parents Gertrude and John Cyphers, sisters
Florence Merriman, Mildred Border, brothers Kenneth Cyphers, Earl Cyphers,
Harold Cyphers and loving brothers and sisters-in-law.

She is survived by daughter Diane DeFelice (Bob), granddaughters Christy Farris
(Jim), Michele DeLaet (Mike), Shelley Catanzaro (Vince), grandson Brian Gorham
(Maria); great-grandsons Adam, Nicholas, Dominic, Ethan; brother Gene Cyphers,
brother-in-law Paul England, cousin Clara Brown, and numerous nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the staff at Avalon for the loving care they provided Evie.

Services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 with visitation at 10 am and services at 11 am. Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to AIDS Resource Center of Ohio www.arcohio.com.
