Evelyn M. Bailey

Bailey, Evelyn M., 57, of Dayton, passed away January 13, 2017.

She was born July 21, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio to James Albert and Helen Louise (Swink) Horn. Evelyn was a beautiful person. She had a good heart and loving spirit. Evelyn was very patient, understanding, and a good listener. She loved life. She was a family mother, not just a mom but a best friend. Evelyn enjoyed spending time with her family and those she cared about and would do whatever she could to help. She attended Holy Family Church for many years.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her father, James Albert Horn, sister, Carolyn, brother, Walter and her dear friend, Celia Madden.

She is survived by daughter, Heather (Bailey) Shaw, son, Robert Bailey; 4 grandchildren, Chance Shaw , Josh Bailey, Keyaria Bailey, Karon Bailey; mother, Helen Horn; beloved partner, Henry Crutcher; 2 sisters, Marilyn Grubb, Barbara Block; 2 brothers, Barry Horn and James Horn.
