Evelyn B. Daniels
September 5, 1919 — February 22, 2012
Evelyn B. Daniels, age 92, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, February 22, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Daniels; sons, Edward Anthony Daniels and James David Daniels; daughter-in-law, Julie Daniels; several brothers and a sister.
Evelyn is survived by her granddaughters, Tina (Tom) Sampson and Le-Anne (Tony) Hovan; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Joshua, Danielle, Kyle and Cody; great-great-grandsons, Benjamin and Tyler; sister, Jessie Wallace; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Evelyn attended Moraine City Baptist Church.
For 19 years Evelyn greeted people at Meijer's with smiling face and a penny for the kids.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 9-11am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 11am. Burial will take place at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
Donations may be made in Evelyn's memory to The Hospice of Dayton.
