Evella Ann Rupard

Evella Ann Rupard, age 57 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born November 25, 1961 in Oneida, Tennessee; the oldest daughter of Ross and Lona Parton.


She Married James T. Rupard in December of 1985 and was a dedicated union member of Local Bakers #19 for nearly 20 years.

Evella was a devoted wife, generous mother, lively grammy and a loving daughter, sister and friend. She will be remembered for her strong and energetic personality. She enjoyed cooking for and being surrounded by her family. No one ever left hungry or empty handed.

She is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Kayleigh Ann Rupard; father, Ross Parton; and sister-in-law, Brenda Gay Walk.

Evella will be missed by her mother, Lona Parton; mother-in-law, Nancy Rupard; loving husband of almost 34 years, James; four daughters, Jaimee Danielle Rupard (Timothy Isham), Kristi Renae (William) Howard, Kylie Elizabeth Rupard, Jessica Nicole Rupard; grandchilren, Zen, Liam, Sophia, John, Charlotte, Elijah, Evan and Olivia; siblings, Jack Parton, Joe Parton, Yvonne (Dino) Zinzigk, Jerry Parton, Cheryl Parton(Jon Griest), Suzy (Chuck) Blodgett, Cyndy (Randy) Carter, John (Bobbi) Parton and Billy (Melissa) Parton; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including her close friend, Dawn Black.

Family will receive friends Friday, November 1, 2019 from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio.
