Eva Jeanette Applegate

Eva Jeanette Applegate, age 84, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2009. She was born September 19, 1924 in Georgetown, Ohio. Eva was preceded in death by her husband Theodore Applegate; her parents and four sisters. She is survived by her children; Diana (Mike) Carr, of Dayton, Patricia (Bill) Moore, of Xenia, Donald (Sue) Applegate, of Genoa, James (Thelma) Applegate, of St. Cloud, FL and Gale (Kim) Applegate, of Harrison; one half-sister; one brother; one half-brother; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson and many other friends and relatives. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 14, 2009 from 6-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering OH 45439). Services will be held Monday, June 15, 2009 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to help with funeral costs.
