Eunice A. Gaskins, age 81 of Dayton, passed away after a short illness on October 21, 2013. She was born October 1, 1932 in Coffeyville, MS. Preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gaskins; father of her children: David C. Frison; brother, Alfred George Kimmons; and sister, Arlillian Stephenson.
Eunice is survived by her children: Karen Frison, Charlotte (David) Simpson, Vanessa (Norman Quick) Frison, Ava Frison and Bernard Frison; 14 grandchildren: David Simpson, Jr., Danielle Simpson, Naomi Frison, Elahn Quick, Avichi Quick, Avichiel Quick, Elikaseed Quick, Yoyahkeen Quick, Amiahad Quick, LaVone Dixon, Felicia Nalls, Dwight Brown, Sheena Frison and Ja'Wann Gillis; 10 great grandchildren; beloved sister friends: Minnie Wortham, Ethel Allen, Vernall Hare and Loyce Shockley; special niece, Sandra Dorsey; and a host of other dear friends and relatives, including Melvin Buford and Sonny Buford.
Eunice retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church. Eunice was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend to all. She enjoyed hosting meals at her home and will be missed by all who knew her.
