Eunice Meryl Cope Benson

Eunice Meryl Cope Benson, age 90, of Centerville, Ohio went to be with our Lord on January 21, 2022. She was born in Frenchburg, KY on June 4, 1931, the daughter of Allen and Eunice Cope.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George Benson, two precious daughters Rita & Ann, brothers Forrest Cope & Charlie Cope, brother-in-law Everett Donaldson and special friend Emogene Trimble Benson.

She is survived by her daughter Cindy Benson Marshall; three grandchildren Elizabeth Thompson, Forrest (Lindsey) Thompson and Jordan (Alicia) Thompson; great-grandchildren Landon, Zachary, Bristol & Elle Thompson; brother Owen Cope (Ruth Williams), sister Temple Donaldson sister-in-law Wilma Egleston Cope; and many other loving family members and friends.

Eunice Meryl was a devoted wife and mother. She loved the Lord and worshipped at the First Baptist Church Kettering, serving as church librarian and secretary for many years. Her family was her treasure, especially her grandchildren. She had a humble loving spirit, shown by her smile and beautiful blue eyes. She will be sorely missed but is awaiting us all in our heavenly home.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church Kettering, 3939 Swigart Road, Beavercreek, OH 45440, with Rev Chad Keck officiating.
Burial will follow at Davids Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Eunice Meryl's memory.
